Philip S. Miller Park

Philip S. Miller Park is Castle Rock’s 300-acre town park, named after the community leader Philip S. Miller. It has outdoor fitness, trails and things for families to do.

Challenge Hill and the Incline

Challenge Hill is the park’s outdoor staircase, the Incline: 200 steps that climb 178 feet. It was modeled after the Manitou Incline, it is free, and it draws fitness climbers. From the top there are 360-degree views of Pikes Peak, the Front Range and the Denver skyline.

Miller Activity Complex (MAC)

The Miller Activity Complex is the Town’s 64,443 square foot, two-story recreation center. It has a leisure pool, lap lanes, trampolines, indoor synthetic fields, batting cages, a children’s play structure, a functional fitness area and party rooms, so the park has something to do indoors too.

Trails

An 8-mile network of unpaved single-track trails, in four connected loops, runs through the park, with 2.5 miles of paved paths near the MAC. They are used for hiking, trail running and mountain biking, at several levels of difficulty.
